Empowering individuals and families affected by the impact of HIV.
Providing Skills Certification Program through which our HIV infected and affected clientele will be empowered, creating new possibilities for their professional and personal development. Available certification programs include: Comptia A+ , Network+ and Microsoft Certified Professional: MCP. We aim to certify 25 new professionals per year of operation, with the expectation, of incorporating other certification fields as the program develops. Be the difference. Using both national and international resources, we conduct donation drives where the proceeds are shipped to our centers in the Caribbean to enrich the lives of those in our local community who are financially strained. Donated goods such as: clothing, electronics, food and household equipment will be distributed to the underprivileged and poverty stricken areas in Trinidad and Tobago; and eventually to other Caribbean islands with special focus on orphans and the homeless. A For Youths by Youth concept. An annually held national innovation-driven, community centric competition. The challenge, students are invited to create a television ad which would educate their peers on HIV preventative methods, as well as address the existence of Stigmas and the way in which they contribute to the prevalence of HIV. The competition is open to students in two defined categories i) students in forms 3-6 and and ii) students perusing their BA degrees. First and second place prizes are issued across the two competition categories.
